CABINS AND CAMPGROUND
CANOE COUNTRY CABINS & CAMPGROUND is located 20 miles northeast of Ely on Moose Lake, gateway to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and famous Basswood Lake. Once you leave our docks you'll enter a vast wilderness lake region void of any resorts, roads, or private cabins.
Moose, Newfound, Sucker, and Basswood Lake all feature excellent fishing for walleye, northern pike, and smallmouth bass. These four lakes allow outboard motors up to 25 horsepower. Great fishing and scenery is also available on "canoe only" lakes such as Wind, Wood, Birch, Splash, and Ensign.
BWCA lakes are uncrowded due to Forest Service regulations that limit access...thus a remote wilderness atmosphere is assured!
OUR HOUSEKEEPING CABINS are modern, fully furnished and sizes range from 1-4 bedrooms. The kitchens include refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, charcoal barbecue grill, cookware, dishes, and utensils. Bedrooms include all bedding and bathrooms have showers. You need to supply your own bath and kitchen towels, food, toilet tissue, soap, and fishing gear.
RV & TENT CAMPGROUND - Sites include a picnic table, firepit, and free shower house use. RV sites include water, sewer, and electric hookups.

Cabins add 9.875% TaxDEPOSITS: $300 for cabin, $40 for campground site, $50 for each boat, motor, canoe rental.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancel a cabin reservation at least one month in advance and receive deposit back less a $75 cancellation fee. Cancel a campground reservation at least ten days in advance and receive deposit back less $15.

Cabin rental does not include a boat
Maximum motor size is 25 HP

Cabin rental nights must be within a Saturday-to-Saturday time slot, unless special arrangements are made
Cabin Pet Fee: $70 for first pet, $30 for each additional. Pets may not be left unattended in cabins.
Boat rentals include life vests, swivel seats, oars, anchor
